Guitar Hero Rocks the Square - CONGRATULATIONS SHAWN GALLEA Our big Guitar Hero

We gave away over $2,000.00 in CASH and PRIZES, with our biggest Hero taking home $1,000.00 in CASH.
The competitors played on a huge inflatable screen (24' wide and over 20' high).

Although I qualified by default in my age category, I must say that I was thrilled to be part of the competition. It was exciting to play Guitar Hero on the big screen. Both my sons enjoyed the event, too. I certainly appreciated their tips during my hours of practice at home for the two days before the event.
Lori-Dawn, major kudos to you, Syd and all those involved in creating the Guitar Hero Competition! It was extremely well organized both during the qualifying rounds at the PC Museum and the two nights at the Woodman Park Community Centre. Everything from a spectator perspective went smoothly. The band "KGB" was excellent, the screen display announcement of the competitors was great, the random song selector was good to keep the competition unbiased and the Masters of Ceremony did their best to keep the enthusiasm high. I'm sure behind the scenes there was much discussion, planning and decision-making - it all shows from the success of the event.
