Guitar Hero Rocks the Square - The Brant News is proud
to present the biggest and best Guitar Hero Competition!
The grand winner of the $1,000 is Shawn Gallea. Although we had more participants this year, the final battle was a repeat of last
year between Shawn and Justin Reilly. Justin was the runner up and received a copy of "Guitar Hero: Warriors of Rock" from the competition,
from game supplier Microplay. Other runner ups received gift certificates courtesy of the Brant News for Movie & Game Crazy on Shellards Lane.
In all, we gave out over $2,400 in cash and prizes.
Age 5-10 Winner: William Chan (Toronto)
Age 11-15 Winner: Shawn Gallea (Waterford)
Age 16-20 Winner: William Penny (Hamilton)
Age 21+ Winner: Justin Reilly (Brantford)
Interestingly, the top players in their age categories did not end up being the top winners in the competition (Ryley Decker, Daniel Pauco,
Jonathon Woodley, Joseph Jenkinson) although all players did very well.
